Sprint Htc Evo 3D recap

Building upon the success of the first 4G phone, Sprint is back again this summer with the issue of the Htc Evo 3D. In many respects, the Evo 3D has many of the same features that made the customary so wildly popular. Sprint has a history of being a wireless carrier of delivering firsts'. They were the first with a 4G phone and now are the first to offer a 3D capable phone. So is the Htc Evo 3D a gimmick or should it be taken a serious player in this summer's lineup of smartphones.

The first thing to reconsider is the operating ideas running on the most recent model. Google's Android 2.3, also known as Gingerbread, comes acceptable on the phone. While manufacturers often promise software updates to customers, there is growing concern that the purposefully hold out on providing updates to make newer models more attractive. This might be the case with the Evo 3D, but it's also a reality. If you want's Google's most recent and greatest, the easiest way to do so is to buy new hardware. There are numerous advances in Android 2.3, most notably the improved user interface.

At first glance, the Htc Evo 3D looks no distinct then the previous mode. Looks can be deceiving and that is in fact the case with this phone. Simply turning on the phone reveals a major upgrade to the display. The Evo 3D comes with a new 4.3 inch qHd Super Lcd. Everything interaction with the phone is automatically improved.

Now let's talk guts. Htc has drastically improved the processing power, with a dual-core 1.2 Ghz processor. That's twice the speed of its predecessor. Also included is a 1.3 front facing camera and a 5 megapixel camera on the back. The customary camera will also benefit from dual Led flashes. Expect higher potential images from the Evo 3D.

The user interface features Htc's well-known Sense overlay. Version 3.0 of Sense is also a nice upgrade included with the phone. The software has been improved and offers even greater customization options, all very well done.

As the name would suggest, this phone is the first to offer a 3D experience. Glasses are not required, which makes it easier to enjoy. Using the built-in camera, you can also capture 3D images. Sprint includes the Green Hornet 3D movie with the phone. The Android shop offers movies for rent, so expect more 3D titles to come to be available. It should be noted that titles are slight right now. The same goes for 3D gaming. While a unique and fun experience, there are Simply not a large whole of titles ready right now. Those are the difficulties with being an early adopter. If you purchased a 3D television, you are likely well-known with those growing pains.

Overall, it's hard to find fault with the Htc Evo 3D. The customary was incredibly victorious for good reason. Sprint and Htc took a good thing and made it better. With an improved processor, dual-Led flash camera and astonishing qHd display, there is plenty to like about the Htc Evo 3D.
